T3 Blog Prompt #13
A: CAPTAIN!!!
B: Woah! Calm down kid.
A: There is a big problem with our spaceship.
B: Ha! No such problem is considered big with me around!
A: Our... our spaceship is damaged!
B: Hoho! Don’t tell me that our spaceship was scratched again like the previous time?
A: No sir, this time is much worst!
B: Hmmm... don’t tell me our engine is down?
A: No sir.
B: Then why are you so nervous? Nothing worse than that could happen.
A: Both of our wings are badly damaged!
B: Interesting!
A: Aren’t you afraid?
B: What is our back-up wings for? You do not need do get so uptight because of this.
A: Can’t you remember? Our back-up wings are still under repair after we collided into another spaceship?
B: What!?! You should have told me earlier!
A: But sir, you did not ask me.
B: Never mind that. So, what are we crashing into?
A: They did not state clearly but I think it is called the sun.
B: That’s terrible! The sun’s surface temperature is approximately 5505°C!
A: Wow Captain! You are so knowledgeable!
B: We would be burnt into ashes before we could even reach the sun!
A: Oh no! What should we do now?
B: Abandon ship!!! Hurry prepare all our crew members.
A: That is a great choice!
B: What are you waiting for? Hurry! We only have about 3 minutes!
A: Right away sir!

The dialogue is quite well done. The characters are quite well-portrayed through the dialogue. It can be seen that the captain is rather laid-back and isn't very clear of what is going on on the ship. Character B, although rather worried about the situation, doesn't think of laying out the whole situation in one go, which shows that he is somewhat of a scatterbrain. One thing you could do is to show who exactly is character B, be it first mate, or co-pilot.
This is indeed a humorous dialogue. It will make the readers laugh for all the funny and stupid things that the two character said such as the captain asking them to abandon ship for they are on a space ship and should not be able to do so.
