T3 Blog Prompt #4

Write a paragraph of narrative, 100-150 words, in sentences of seven or fewer words. No sentence fragments! Each must have a subject and a verb.

The thief climbed in from the window. He had done this many times before. He came prepared with gloves and mask. He had definitely chosen the right time. The time when I was deep asleep. He ransacked my items, finding for valuables. He kept his loots in a sack. Then, he prepared to make a move. However, my phone rang suddenly. Shocked, he ran towards the window. He got himself stuck at the window. I woke up and realised what happened. I immediately dialed for the police. He struggled but could not get out. Finally, the police arrived. They managed to get him out. He kicked and punched, trying to escape. After a fierce fight, he got arrested. He cried but it was too late. I learnt many things from this incident. I must be alert all the times. Also, never do things I would regret.
