2O4 Home Learning Online Lessons

1. Why did you choose these particular different pictures or background(s)?
2. How do these images contribute to your narrative elements (plot, setting, characterization, etc.)?
3. How did you make use of the different narrative elements to contribute to the theme you have chosen?

1. I chose these backgrounds because they seem to be more realistic. The first background is at the classroom where the boy and his classmate meet up and chat. The second background is when the boy is at home on the bed worrying that his friend would win him in the competition and trying to think of a way to stop his friend from participating. The third and forth background are the same, which is at a bridge where there is water below it when the boy and his classmate is walking to school. The boy is trying to kick his classmate into the water below the bridge but he missed as his classmate bends down and ended up falling into the water.

2. The images makes the story more interesting and attractive as it uses pictures more than words to explain the story so that it would not be so boring. By using images, it shows clearly the characters' actions, thoughts and also facial expressions.

3. I used the boy and his actions to contribute to the theme I have chosen. The boy is an example of someone who back-stabs his friends and commit wrongdoings just to try to win. The boy ends up falling into the water himself as people who do bad things would not have a good ending.
